Star Academy offers primary and intermediate students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through fifth grade a rigorous, supportive and student centered educational program. We opened our doors in August 2010 with two kindergarten classes. Dedicated teachers provide innovative, hands-on learning experiences in a nurturing environment, which encourage creativity and explorations.

Since the school was founded in 1993, Natomas Charter School has been recognized as a leader and one of the best schools in the Sacramento region. Planning for 6th grade? Don't forget to Re-Apply! Applications for the 2027-2028 school year will open on November 1, 2026. All current 5th Graders must submit an application for the 2027-2028 school year if you wish to attend our Leading Edge Performing and Fine Arts or PACT academy programs.
