About Us

Star Academy offers primary and intermediate students in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through fifth grade a rigorous, supportive and student centered educational program. We opened our doors in August 2010 with two kindergarten classes. Dedicated teachers provide innovative, hands-on learning experiences in a nurturing environment, which encourage creativity and exploration.

By utilizing multi-faceted approaches, real-world examples, technology, and inquiry-based learning, our vision is to develop well-rounded individuals of character who possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills to become global citizens and lifelong learners.

Transitional Kindergarten

For admission during the 2021-22 school year, students who will be five years of age on or before September 1, 2021, may register for Transitional Kindergarten or Kindergarten. Children who will turn five years old between September 2, 2021 and December 2, 2021, are eligible for Transitional Kindergarten only.

Academic Instruction

At Star Academy, academic literacy is the main thread that is woven through each discipline. Transitional Kindergarten implements a developmentally appropriate, two-year kindergarten curriculum.
