2017-18 Lottery Results now available

Below you will find the  link to the accepted and waitlist results from our 2017-2018 Star Academy Lottery.  If you applied to the school for more than one child, please check the lists to determine each student's status. You will find grade level tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet.  If you were accepted you will receive an email with additional information, there no need to call us.  If you are on the waitlist, we will call you if we have an opening and your number is next.  We will continue to work from the wait list during the 2017-2018 school year.

2017-18 Lottery numbers are now available

Prospective Parents:

Numbers for the 2017-18 Star Academy lottery are now available. As a reminder, the lottery will be held on March 21st in the multi-purpose room. The TK and Kindergarten lottery starts at 5:30, with 1st through 5th grades beginning at 6:30. If you are parents of only 1st-5th grade students, please arrive no earlier than 6:15. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you next week!

Star Academy Open Enrollment has closed

The 2017-18 application and addendum links are posted below. Please feel free to contact our office by emailing Cynthia Helmsin at [email protected] with any questions. Our office is open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Applications submitted after 2/24 will not be included in the lottery. You are still welcome to apply.

 

A prospective family information night will be held March 16th at 6 PM in the multi purpose room.

About Star Academy

Star Academy, one of five Natomas Charter School academies, offers students a comprehensive and student-centered curriculum in a supportive and nurturing environment.  Through differentiated instruction, hands-on learning activities emphasize critical thinking and encourage creativity, and moderate class sizes provide an opportunity to meet each individual student's needs.  

Star Academy currently offers instruction in Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and grades kindergarten to fifth grade.  

By utilizing multi-faceted approaches, real-world examples, applications, and experiences, our vision is to develop well-rounded individuals of character who possess strong critical thinking and problem solving skills to become global citizens and lifelong learners.
